Officer and Line Camps were held @ WAIS on June 8th - 10th for Officer Camp and July 20th - 22nd for Line Camp. Classes and choreography completely tailored to and specifically for the Silver Starz Dance Team were provided. Classes were in Basic Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Partnering, Turns/Leaps, Musical Theater, High Kick, Pom, Choreography Lab, Warm-up/Cardio! Seminars were in Being a Silver Starz: Etiquette Among Young Ladies and Leadership, Time Management, Leadership, Teaching, Motivation, Costume Care, and Production!

Jody Moore: Ms. Jody Moore has been dancing for 20 years and has worked with several talented choreographers in L.A. and Houston including:
Leslie Scott, Marty Dew, Denise Leitner, Kevin Maher, Eddie Garcia and the acclaimed Shane Sparks (as seen on America's Best
Dance Crew & So You Think You Can Dance). While earning her Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and International Studies from Texas
A&M University, Jody was President of TAMU's Dance Arts Society in which she choreographed multiple works for and danced under
Professor Molly Snell for four years. During that time she traveled throughout Houston performing in notable productions of Ms. Snell's
such as Ventilation and Inevitable Mourning, and co-choreographed with Ms. Snell to merge Hip-Hop, Modern and African styles
creating a historically based work; The Movement . . . from the Roots and Beyond; creative concept based on slavery, former
President Abraham Lincoln and the abolishment of the 6th amendment. Ms. Moore has also serviced the community through dance
and has performed at Bellaire High School, Westside High School, WAIS and Lone Star College. Although hip-hop is Ms. Moore's
specialty, she has been trained in ballet, lyrical and modern for many years and also studied at The Edge and Millenium in
Los Angeles, California. She continues her creative endeavors and loves the world of dance and bodily expression. Jody now
dances professionally with the Monell Dance Company based in Houston, Texas.
Stephanie Roe: Ms. Roe has been the Director for the Cardell Dance/Drill Team at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas since 2005. She has led her
team to the National Championships in 2008 placing in modern, team pom, military and lyrical works but also highly diversified in
high kick and jazz techniques. This past fall, she was invited to participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City,
a very high honor for Ms. Roe as she was one of four staff members chosen from the American Dance/Drill Team School. Her
teaching history includes Coordinator for the American Dance/Drill Team's All American Performance for the Dallas Desperados Half
Time Performance Show in 2008, professional staff member for American Dance/Drill Team School 2005 to present, ADDT High Kick
Judge 2005 to present and a professional dancer in the Monell Dance Company based out of Houston, Texas. She was a
professional dancer for the Dallas Dance Company from 2005-2006, Tombstone Texas Professional Dinner Theatre in Bryan, Texas
and a former member of the Senior/Collegiate Dance Company at Premiere Dance Academy in College Station, Texas for 4 years
winning several awards and one individual for her solo works, Numb and Not a Pretty Girl. Ms. Roe has danced for several years both
as student and professional under the direction of teacher/choreographer, Molly Snell in multiple acclaimed and award winning
choreographic works including repretory piece, Misery. She has taught as a dance instructor at Pemiere Dance Academy in Texas from
2001-2004 where she was also an assistant director/choreographer for PDA Junior Company. Ms. Roe's choreography credits
include the American Dance/Drill Team, Burnett Junior High School, Irving Girls' Cheerleader Association and Paris High School. She
is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a BBA degree in Marketing and also was involved in Dance Arts Society. Ms. Roe is
currently a member of Texas Dance Educators Association and the National Dance Association where she recently performed Monell
Company duet Supported in Tampa, Florida.
Courtney Martin: Ms. Martin is currently the Director of the Aggie Dance Team at Texas A&M University and also an alumni Aggie Dance Team Member
herself. Ms. Martin graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in Biology and a minor in dance. While an A&M student, she performed with
the nationally recognized EmSu Dance Company under the direction of Professor Snell traveling to state, district and national galas
including New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Houston and Austin. She performed nationally awarded works of Ms. Snell's such as
3 Fates Woven and Shedding Skin. Ms. Martin was also the recipient of the Outstanding Dance Minor of the Year Award presented by
the National Dance Association in 2003 as well as Outstanding Choreography for Looking In, 2003 and Outstanding Performance
Award 2003 by the Nu Delta Alpha Dance Honor Society. After graduation, Courtney continued her pursuit of dance performing
professionally as a company member with Planet Funk. Astroworld Amusement Park, Dance Houston, Hush Nightclub and currently
the Monell Dance Company out of Houston. She performed in premiere guest work Fragile choreographed by Broadway Rockette,
Shawnda James. Ms. Martin has choreographed for the Aggie Dance Team, A&M Dance Academy, Skepton High School Stallionette
Drill Team and Plano Academy of Dance. Her training includes master teachers such as Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Cornelius
Carter, Bill Evans, Kista Tucker, Garth Fagan, Wade Robinson, Marty Kudelka and Brian Friedman. She has studied at Planet Funk
Academy, Dallas Power House, Plano Academy of Dance as well as TAMU dance minor program and is fluent in dance genres of
hip-hop, jazz, modern and contemporary. Ms. Martin continues to teach and choreograph as the Director/Coach for the Aggie Dance
Team while continuing to perform professionally.
